Alex Vail Faber is a fantasy fiction writer and artist based on the shores of Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin.

Her fantasy worlds include Sanuin and Chequeland. Her current works in progress include a secondary world heist novel Theft and a historical fantasy novel Eternal. Her current artistic fascination lies with fantasy maps.

She enjoys bicycling, mapping, yoga, and outdoor adventures with her partner, Eric. When she’s not writing, she manages a bicycle shop and directs an environmental nonprofit.
